THE PURPOSE OF THIS COURSE:
At the end of this unit students will be able to:
- Use proper joining and construction techniques
- Produce work on a larger scale and more refined than Year 7
- Develop an understanding of how clay is used in society for
domestic and industrial use
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Learn the techniques involved in wheel work
- Surface decoration
- Special glazing effects

The course is for a duration of one semester:
