Duke of Edinburgh Program

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is an international award for Youth development and leadership in Outdoor Education. Northcote High School has offered this program since 2004.

The Award is a three tiered structure - Bronze , Silver and Gold, with components of Service, PE, Expeditions and Skills.

To fulfil the Duke of Edinburgh Award at Northcote High School, student membership of Scouts, Guides, St. John's Cadet's (Darebin branch) are examples of organisations students could be members of to achieve the DOE component.

Students who are interested in completing the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award at either Bronze, Silver or Gold Level should contact their Year Level Program Coordinator.
